Hello ladies. I have been secretly lurking for a little while since my BFP but was worried (for some silly reason) of joining you guys as an official graduate. Hope you don't mind :-)
I'm 16weeks due June 18th with a girl. Hope you're all travelling well.

Congratulations mrsLa. Look at those cheeks!!!

    Congrats MrsLA

36 weeks now and happy for our little cherub to show its face. I'm feeling amazing and super active with loads of energy still - providing I get a decent nights sleep! OB said on Thursday bubs head is engaged and ready to go and doubts I'll still be pregnant at 40 weeks which i am happy about! Also commented on what a compact belly I have haha, I can tell you lady it doesn't feel compact when I'm trying to get out of bed lol
Still haven't packed my hospital bag which I'm starting today hopefully!

A friend of mine had her bubs yesterday, at 16 weeks and 22 weeks her sonographer told them both times it was a girl...well guess what!? It came out a BOY! Now the poor things have all pink and girly stuff they have been given and bought (not that it's terribly critical but they are the kind of couple that didn't buy one neutral or boyish item!), and not being well off they can't afford to buy all new stuff straight off the bat, I thought about contacting the baby shops locally and seeing if they are willing to donate vouchers or items to get them started? What do you think?
Terrible stuff up on the sonographers part but I guess nothing is guaranteed!

    Welcome Rebecca and congratulations.

Pony, that's a pretty big stuff up, but the sonographers generally tell you they can't be 100% sure. Every ultrasound my ob did, I got her to double check that Sienna was still a girl. I was still relieved when she was born and was a girl. You could try the baby shops and see what they say. Or even a post on Facebook explaining what happened and asking if anyone has any boy things they don't want
