Would be so cool feeling twins move

We are doing well. The hospital wanted me to stay in another night but the Ob said it was up to me, and I decided I would be more comfortable at home.

Went to see the middy today to have C weighed. He had dropped from 3350g to 3030g at discharge. Weigh in today showed he has FINALLY put some weight back on - 100g in 2 days which is double what he needed (needs average 25g per day) so that was a relief so we dont have to be re-admitted. His jaundice appears to be clearing too.

We have been having lots of feeding issues as he is so tired and not latching or sucking well so I've been finger feeding him and offering a b/f as sometimes he will attach and suck. The middy watched me do a feed and said that though he isnt tongue tied, he doesnt yet have the muscle tone/strength in his mouth to bring his tongue forward, or suck very well - hence why he is struggling to latch. So hopefully it is just a matter of time and a bit more strength behind him and development and he will get the hang of it.. So I just have to continue what Im doing for now and fingers crossed the feeds will improve. I have noticed his sucking on my finger has gotten stronger over the last 24 hours which is awesome.

DD is doing well and loves being a big sister. I think she is in the "honeymoon period" at the moment, Im expecting some fall-out down the track though! She was very excited to go to daycare today and take a pic of C in to show everyone so that was cute.
That's so cute of your DH my DF is all about being at the business end he wants to catch her and bring her to me... Which is what I want as well and luckily my midwives and OB are very supportive of all I want. Except I have to have the injection to expel the placenta.

ive been following your progress with Mr C I'm glad he has put on weight and his sucking is getting stronger and glad he doesn't need to be re admitted. He must just a bad sucking/ jaw strength because he was 3 weeks early? But so proud of you for perservering through all of this so cute if your dd!

    Little Duck - congrats!!

Shelby - yay for 12 weeks!!

Rainbow - I can't believe it's shower time for you already!!! I hope it goes well.

Waiting - my SILs DS was born 6 weeks early and had the same issue with latching. SIL had to express and bottle feed for the first month and now he feeds like a champ. Plus, he already takes a bottle too. Bonus for her! Hopefully C does the same.

AFM - it's jut DD and I for the weekend as DH is off on a boys weekend. Then we go OS for 3 weeks on Wednesday. It's totally snuck up on me. I haven't started packing or anything! Must have other things on the brain. 😉

Sounds like everyone has some good things going on and had some great news recently.

Have a great baby shower Rainbow.

Am still tired did a double shift Thursday night as there were staff who couldn't get to work because of some of the fires and I said yup I'll do it as i was to be on yesterday morning which meant they had to pay me to sleep for the day as well so didn't really need todays money and thought more rest for me and but was better anyway. Ran out of my Zofren Thursday and wasn't awake early enough yesterday to get to chemist and MS has been bad again the last few days sadly so off to the chemist after a shower.

Hopefully going to layby some baby furniture and pram and carseat tomorrow before the sale at baby bunting ends very exciting. Cannot wait to see Lil wobbler again on Tuesday at the OB's appointment hope all is still going well.

    Have a lovely weekend ladies.
