Hi girls I am here reading sorry your body is misbehaving bertie. Erin I think it makes it harder to cope if you spend a lot of energy withholding..like having to work while going through it trying to be composed. Very tiring.

Afm total weight loss 11.1 kg in 3 months...mother in law didnt notice well thats fine she actually looks at my face and doesnt care....until my hubby got up her about giving me cheesecake to take home...I was a little taken aback by his abruptness..I just took the cake and said id eat it later not intending to eat it but be polite...he was like no cant you notice..bla...embarrassing anyway. So now 9.9kg to go bmi is now at 40.1 down fron 45.9. Coming up to AF so kind of expect a mini plateau again. I cant believe how many pple really harrass me to eat rubbish. At work yest they sat a quarter pounder and fries beside me wouldnt take it away its all a big joke and I said I didnt want it but it was so hard..they were like..oh it wont hurt and I just look at them,...seriously? This lady I work for has had lapband surgery.,, all she eats is coke and chocolate and maccas.

MrsMac perhaps the next time she puts a quarter pounder in front of you, you should say to this lady at work'oh I'm sorry but I wouldn't want to get to the point where I need surgery to lose weight... I don't think I'm at that stage yet!'. That might shut her up! She sounds like a *****! I'm overweight, and every time I try to lose some I have noticed there theres a lot of food rewards offered in this world.
Congratulations on your loss so far
Bertie, sorry to hear things aren't exactly on track, don't give up just yet, things can pick up overnight with these things your E2 gets a boost soon.

Butterfly, twinges sound good! We need you to turn the run around in here ( no pressure) .

AFM, have paid the majority of our cycle now which is great, so we can just concentrate on the fun stuff like accommodation and flights ... our donor is booked in for all her screening tests on Jan 27. I had a good run yesterday - I went to a new Dr at my clinic as my usual Dr is on Mat. leave and she wrote out every script I need which is fantastic - some times that I s half the battle.
DH went to his clinic and got a South African Dr. Who was telling him how much he was going to love Cape Town, so he came home all excited about the trip which is great... he is also now saying things like 'if we have to go back...' so that makes me feel a lot less pressure about this cycle, not that I want to go back! I want this to work first time, but I dont want to go over there thinking this is the end of the line for us ....

Hello to all our other ladies Chiefs, 3goes, Springy, MrsP, Kenta, Myheart, Micca, Luca and anyone else I have missed

Wow emski that all sounds wonderful! Sounds like Cape Town may have a special place in your heart forever at least in this lifetime... I don't know if you believe in past lives etc but I always wonder if these things are karmic in some way... Anyway I send you all my good wishes for your journey and really hope you receive. I really admire all those with the strength, courage, and force of will to pursue their dreams.... How long will you spend in Cape Town after transfer?

Mrs mac sounds like you are all systems go on the weight loss ... In this life there will always be passive aggressive people ...... Don't let them get the better of you . See it for what is and let it go, you have bigger fish to fry!

Afm had a nice time at work last night, lots of bubbas for me to cuddle... I saw the cutest little red headed one... omg I could have taken him home ! It's funny .... whenever I am in the tww it seems I get way more cuddles... Must be hormonal? It's probably just me being super clucky ... Not feeling that positive about this cycle though. I'm day 5 post 5d tf today. No symptoms really ...

MGC Bertie, I'm sorry your levels are down, sometimes mine are too and then I finally get there after a few extra days stimming.

Butterfly, I've got everything crossed for you!

AFM - plugging along, madly researching NK cells so I know what questions to ask when I get to my appointment with Dr M in Jan. Going to spend the next couple of months seriously dieting so I can get the weight under control and start from a decent place!

Butterfly, I had no symptoms before I got my BFP. It was an important lesson for me to learn as I was always looking for any little sign and I got so depressed that there weren't any!

Hey Bertie, I'm sorry the cycle is not going to plan. Out of curiousity, what protocol are you on? I think you'd mentioned synarel but was wondeting what doses of FSH.
I'm not sure if you remember but i had two cycles at really high doses.., one delivered no eggs & the other only gave me two (of which 0 fertalised). I thought the whole time my body was just not happy about it & then this last cycle, we dropped the fsh by half & stimmed for 16 days (not 11) & i got 7 eggs (2 to blast). All 7 eggs grew at tge same rate too (as opposed to all over the shop). Anyway, just thought i'd mention it. I hope you feel a but better soon.
Emski - good job on the planning. It must be really nice to have SH excited about it all. What an amazing tale you're going to have to tell.
Butterfly you have an amazing outlook.., i wish i could have even half of it
Chiefsgirl, its great you're getting all the info & hopefully you can have a really good plan in place.
    Hi to everyone else

Threegoes....I'm on 450 of Menopur. Originally I was to do the antogonist protocol but when I got to d1 levels were not right, so I waited to d21 started Synarel on the long down protocol. Levels then looked fine to start the stimming of 450 Menopur. That's interesting what you say about doing a lower dose, but for longer. My last cycle went forever and was eventually cancelled. May just mention that if this one is cancelled. We'll see how it goes, but I'm really getting to the stage to want to use donor eggs and get some success.
