Hi everyone. Hope you don't mind if I join. I'm into the 2ww on my 2nd cycle and stayed clear of forums this time til now. Only 1 egg at EPU, and after a complete meltdown, it fertilised and I had ET yesterday. Taking it easy this time and hoping for the best!

NVB, hello and welcome, for good news for your TWW.

MrsErinR, thinking of you today for your FET

    Em, how are you feeling?

Luca, hope you have some good news on fertilisation.

AFM- just spent half an hour on the phone to the PGD team who called with the CGH results. We actually had 4 embies frozen: one hadn't hatched so couldn't be biopsied, one is NAD (soooo relieved), one had abnormalities on 3 chromosomes, and one is inconclusive and the sample needs to be re-run. So just have to wait for my FS appointment and discuss whether I do another stim or not, and see what happens with the last embie. We still had 2 frozen untested ones from last year, so now I have 3 untested, 1 normal and 1 TBC.

Emski - congratulations! That is so great that your level has risen nicely for you. Must be such a relief.

MrsErin - Good luck for your FET on Sat

Springy - Great news you have one normal. I hope the other "TBC's" turn out normal too.

NVB - Welcome and I hope your 2WW goes OK. I completely get the "meltdown" and hope you feel better after it.

    Hi to everyone.

Thanks ladies for all your well wishes. We found out this morning that 3 fertilised. Come on little embies keep growing....

Luca - that's great result ! Grow embies grow! I guess you will be doing 3dt?

springy - I hope that your three untested and tbc reveals hidden NADs in there. At least you have one in the clear. Can I just ask cldnt you have the two frosties tested at the same time as the others ? Or is that you didn't want thaw and refreeze? And the one that didn't hatch can you still test that, sorry just trying to understand how does it work ?

    Hi

Just got call from our professor's nurse. He wants to do transfer tomorrow (so 2 day). Apparently this is his policy to put them back sooner rather than later if you don't get a lot of eggs. Oh well we trust he knows best! So we won't find out until tomrrow morning when we get there how they have divided etc. Grow well overnight little embies!

Ann, hope you are feeling better today. We asked about testing our frosties from last year, but the scientists told us that there isn't any experience in defrosting embies, doing a biopsy and then re-freezing them, so they weren't willing to do that. Embies must be fully hatched out of the zona for the scientists to conduct a biopsy, so an embie can look good and be of freezer grade, but if it hasn't fully hatched, it can't be biopsied. Hope that helps.

Hi everyone else, hope Tuesday is treating you well.
