Oh s**t! At least there's hcg in there and by tomorrow it should be over 50. It's going to be a hard wait Emski, but you'll get there. X

Lol Panda - I'm surprisingly feeling ok about it... but it's going to be a bloody long wait over the weekend and Monday... I've done NO work today just waiting for this phone call and being generally distracted.
At least I know it's not the pregnyl and I'm in with a chance. It's the closest we've ever gotten.

    Em x

Hmmm I'm tempted to ring and ask but she seemed to think it would be better to wait until Monday and then we'd knòw for sure... I'm wondering if I went to my GP if I'd get the results the same day on a Saturday?

I would...I am a very impatient person though, and I often think that it is easy for people NOT in your shoes to say wait and be patient, I constantly hear it...ok so sometimes you do not have a choice but other times..why do you have to wait? heheh

Oh Emski, you have made me laugh with your backfiring BT. You poor thing! The fact that the tests are getting darker makes me feel so confident for you :-). I really want to just congratulate you but I don't want to be a jinx!!!!

Could you be sneaky and go and get a BT tomorrow from the GP? They can be marked as urgent and come back the same day. Even just after 24 hours you'd get an idea on the rate the HCG is increasing.

Hopefully I don't bring everyone down after em's excitement...

I have some questions to ponder and wonder if anyone is interested in telling me what they reckon?

A month ago I was jumping out of my skin with impatience and frustration and excitement but after poas without even knowing when/if I ovulated and just about sending myself nuts, coupled with the nightmare cycle I had I have calmed down a bit....but a few things I have found out..I actually am feeling more and more demoralised.

    1. GP a few weeks ago gave me referral to have US "2 days after AF finishes" well it seems like after the gush yest morn on day 7 today its a dead stop. Since I had no idea when it would stop I did not make an appt for US until midday today when I was confident, now I cannot get in until Mon...what I want to know is...does that matter? It is trans vag to see whats up in there since 6 years past and I wanted to be proactive...does it matter that it will be more than 2 days?

    2. Am I better to not bother to even have the scan as I am sure I will have to pay for it and my first appointment at the clinic is now 20 days away!@!!! They might want me to do another one pretty soon? I am also wondering since I have found out that for sure my BMI is going to be too high for the clinic at this stage I will need to wait before anything can start anyway...maybe even if I had a scan now it wouldnt mean anything by the time my BMI comes down in a few months? I am hoping by Feb, I just really wanted to save time by saying...had US...tick...had AMH tick...move along move along...

    3. I worked out the last early MC date Jan 2008 and tracked down my US from then ..found it today and it is amazing what you forget when you suffer trauma as I went straight on the Implanon afterwards and just pushed it out of my mind until the last year or so. I never researched back then. The paperwork says I had a 5mm Subendometrial Fibroid!!!! reading Dr Google today has upset me. Especially since a lot of this terrible cycle I have had can be explained by having something like that which I have been blaming on the BC removal. I would be interested to hear if any of you have had experience with these? aka Submucosal Myoma...I believe it is the rarer variety of fibroid and the variety that is known to cause problems with pregnancy especially MC. Can they ever just go away? Yeh 5mm is small but that was nearly 6 years ago.

So in a month I have found out that the FS 6 years ago suspected I had a hydrosalpynx, in the remaining tube, ie blocked and full of nasty gunk. AMH is only 5.3, I most probly have at least 1 of the bad variety of Fibroid and my BMI is way too high to start ...really not sure I am strong enough to deal with it all and the whole tic toc thing...it is all consuming and well DH was all excited about me saying I bought the special lube/gel stuff and then when he saw it he was like...ohh...that kind of lube...back to the clinical stuff again and I was like...geeezzz..ya lucky yo get any lube man ...he loves to massage cream all over me and well I dont mind it but last cycle I was like...uhhhh no...dont go near the sperms with it!!! Why cant he just be happy he is getting it anyway!!

Sorry for long rambles again, I embarrass myself, I am really lost at the moment, I have noone to talk to, everyone I know has kids or for a million other reasons just doesn't get it and give me really patronising or useless comments. The more I hear about things that are wrong with me the more I get worried about money and people say to me ohhh don't worry about that.... how can I not???? If I had a million bucks it still might not be enough but my biggest fear is that the cycle after I run out of money will be the one that could have worked ( Not to mention the extra time it takes to get it all fixed if it can be

Hi MrsMac, I would consult your specialist. I get subendo (aka submucosal) fibroids and they are a lot rarer than standard fibroids, so you want to be sure what you are dealing with. I currently have several subendo fibroids, including one that has had a massive amount of growth due to the pregnancy hormones. I just had a scan today & the Dr confirmed it's at the top of the uterus and won't interfere either with bub's growth or the birth. But in any other location and they would have looked to do a C-section.

According to the scan it is posterior, hypoechoic and irregular...just not sure of what irregular indicates. It is very nice to know twocam that someone who has one is actually pregnant. Though it seems placement is also a consideration. In my research though anything that makes irregularities in the lining can cause issues, not just with implantation

Thanks for your input very appreciated
