    Can't wait!

DD is dressing up as a banshee and she is trying to get the go ahead to dress up at school. We usually decorate and make themed foods. I also make barmbrack.

Halloween is DS1s bday so in the afternoon my family all come over for a mini party/early dinner and cake then we get DH, our kids and my sisters kids all dressed up complete with scary wigs and make up and they head out trick or treating and my sister, my parents and I stay home with the babies and hand out lollies. Our little neighbourhood estate is big on Halloween so it is fantastic! My DH and DD are having a hard time thinking of how they want me to dress them up this year ImageUploadedByThe Bub Hub1381586113.614488.jpg

I like this idea, I will have to do this so the kids in our neighbourhood know we will have lollies!

I LOVE Halloween! I'm new to this neighbourhood, so not sure if anyone around here participates. Crossing my fingers! I will have lollies and decos regardless

I really wanted to get into it this year - get DS dressed up, hand out lollies, etc.

But then someone at work ruined it by booking holidays and asking me to cover their days So I will be working and not getting home til 5:30ish

So I'm feeling a little bah bumbug about it all now!

We'll dress dd up and take her along our street this year... it would suck for her of we didn't and saw all the other kids doing it.

Slightly OT, but I find it weird that some people drive their kids to areas where they don't live to get lollies.
We take DS1 to my Dad's neighbourhood. Ours isn't as safe and lots of kids go out in his. We do it for the experience, not the lollies though because DS1 doesn't eat lollies.
