    Me too, as otherwise I will have a few sad little faces here (its happened to them before) and it was awful as they were literally willing kids to the door and none came.

    oh thats so sad. maybe the day before put up a halloween decoration up out the front and a couple of orange abd black balloons to let people know your down with trick or treating!

    Thanks I've got those same choccie eyeballs from big w and some of there other treats - great stuff there this year. I'll have them ready on the 31st even though we don't do anything ourselves and I'll make up little Halloween lolly bags for DS's class!

    It isn't even American, it is Pagan. The whole carving out a pumpkin thing originated in Ireland where they used to carve out faces in turnips to keep the evil spirits away. They go mad for it over there.

    I love it, will prolly have a scary night around the campfire with marshmallows and scary stories!

    We go nuts every year and have a party. Its like a tradition now. My whole house get turned into the adams family mansion! All the kids go berserk and are talking aboit costumes for 6 months beforehand. All food is themed and last year I cut out manderins so they looked like mini pumpkins they were so cute!
