    About $20 a month comes out of my account for The Red Cross (though I'm not 100% into giving THEM that money, I have been too lazy to change it).

    And irregularly, I give to random charities you don't hear much about, but for whatever reason I discover them and donate a small sum.

    Today is International Day of the Girl Child. It is also World Mental Health Day. Many of our patients are girls and every one of them reports some level of mental illness when they arrive for treatment for obstetric fistula. These girls have been through so much.
