Default Stretch & Sweep - experiences?

    I'm 39w 4d
    I had a s&s at about 10.30 this morning. I was 2cm dialated and 25% effaced..
    So far, I haven't felt a thing.
How was your experience with a s&s, and does anyone have any suggestions on what to do to help push things along?

I'm due tomorrow and I had an attempted one today. The midwife said the same thing about me so she couldn't do it... But that's good to know that I could still go into labour tomorrow lol

Flaz88, yes you can! The ob said "this baby ain't going nowhere by himself". Booked me for an induction a week later. They don't always know it all!

Unless you are super ready 1 stretch and sweep rarely sends you into labour. Much better chances with a few consecutive ones.

I had 6 overv 2 weeks (wasn't allowed to go past 40 weeks due to GDM)

Also DTD after each one, used my breast pump, bounced on my fit ball, walked on the beach every day. I was blardy determined not to be induced.
    Also had acupuncture, chiro.
Ate a whole pineapple <------ do NOT reccomend that.

    I had one s & s at 39 + 5, bishop score of 9. I then had a second at 40 + 5, bishop score was still 9 At 40 + 9 I was induced by ARM (8:00) & synto started at 9:00. By 10:00 I was having regular 'proper' contractions and DD was born at 12:06.

I'm negative too, didn't think of that at the time but I asked and the midwife didn't mention anything about possible bleeding.

I had one at exactly 41 weeks. I was 3cm dilated and had a Bishop Score of 7. It didn't do anything and I was induced two days later (due to high BP). I had DS 8 hours after my ARM (had Synto about an hour after ARM) and I had about 5 hours of active labour.
