    Default argh gross roast!

Far out. Cooked a roast beef... and it turned out perfect except I bought one that was marinated... and I don't like the taste. I can't imagine myself eating it.

Damn can you shred it and use it in something else to disguise the flavour? Or smother in gravy?

well the marinade was a onion/herb and garlic marinade so quite strong. i'd need a lot of gravy to be able to eat it. so annoyed with myself. I never ever buy the marinated ones, and do it myself, and thought i'd try something different.

That sounds DELICIOUS to me. Shame I don't live closer, I'd be happy to make friends with you just to share your roast.

Bummer! Maybe cut the outside of it and brown it in the pan... Not really much you can do I'm afraid
to cheer you up tho... My mother believes all heatedly that silverside is a roast meat and has more than once attempted to roast it... when I keep telling her its not a roast she dismisses me coz she knows EVERYTHING!!
