Default How often to you do washing?

How many people live in your house and how often do you do washing including sheets and towels ect.?
We are a family of 4. Wash clothes every 2nd day. Towels and sheets on days I don't wash clothes. I have Saturdays off from washing.
I also hate washing with a passion. If I don't keep on top of it I spend days on end catching up and with young kids, they don't really appreciate me spending our days hanging and folding mountains of washing and I refuse to waste my night tiMe doing it. I also hang, then fold and put away straight away. Because I wash frequently, this doesn't take me long at all
interested to see how others cope with the bains of uendless washing.

Edit: on swimming days I wash Swim gear straight away.
if dd has a accident, I put her clothes in a dry soak bucket to wait for next wash.
i have a napisan soak bucket set up at all times for stained clothes.
For me. This makes my life easier.

One adult, three kids. I'm in a unit, so washing depends on when there is available space on the 2 airers!

I wash clothes about every second day. I have 2 baskets, one darks and one lights, and I alternate which basket I wash.
Sheets (2 loads) I take off the beds on Sunday and they hang around in the laundry until I have room on the clothes airers to wash and hang them.
Towels I probably do 2 loads a week as well, one for swimming and one for bathroom, and again they hang around until there is space.

I don't mind doing washing, but I hate folding and putting it away. I fold all our clothes in piles on the lounge and then tell the kids to come and put them in their draws.
