    Default IVF & Acupuncture???

Hi Ladies , I am currently studying to be an Endorsed Enrolled Nurse at TAFE, we have been asked to complete a research assignment. I have chosen to do mine on the use of acupuncture in conjunction with IVF. I have chosen to do this as I am currently doing my 2nd round of IVF and thinking about doing acupuncture myself, but wondering if it will help?? Anyway, I would really appreciate if you can help me by filling out the questionnaire below by copy and pasting it in reply message… Thank you
PS. Once completed I will reply at the end with my conclusion so you can all see as well.

If yes, how many acupuncture treatments done: 1 per week for 6 weeks prior to epu, 1 2 days after epu, 2 on day of 5dt (before and after), 1 session 5 days after transfer and 1 session at 5w2d. So 11 I think?
    Number of embryos transferred 1
    Successful? Yes

    Comments:
I didn't change diet, vitamins or exercise before second cycle and stim med was only changed a teeny bit from 125 to 150 units. Comparing second cycle with first I stimmed for less time, got more eggs at epu, got higher rate of fert, had more eggs make it to day 5 and had a 5dt instead of 3dt. The only thing that remained unchanged was that I still got no frosties however I am currently 9w2d pregnant so I think acupuncture was what made the difference for me.

    Comments:
I didn't really do anything to prepare for cycles, and lived life fairly normally after embryo was transferred with the exceptions of no heat packs and no jogging, and going easy on caffeine. Sex as per normal etc. Cycle 1 ended with my daughter, cycle 2 was a chemical pregnancy, and I am due on 19 December as a result of cycle 3.
