So you need to tell them that you think you'll earn $x amount and maybe overestimate a bit so you don't end up having to pay back.

You can up to 6 figures a year. You may not receive parenting payment or health care card. But you will get Family tax benefit b and a child care rebate.

The OP was asking about parenting payment in particular. The idea that someone on 6 figures can still access Family tax etc is kind of a salt-in-the-wound sort of thing for people who use the FTB to JUST crack the $30k mark.

You can earn $176 per f/n plus $24 per child before you SPP is effected. Then it's drops a certain amount per dollar you earn etc.

Sorry if I offended anyone, it wasn't my intention.

I realise that is not what the OP was asking but as she has posted today starting that she intends to be separating, and I don't know her circumstances, I was trying to indicate she will get something from the government. Maybe if her income is greater than the minimum for parenting payment. I do realise that it is a slap in the face for minimum income earners, but the information is on the department of human services website. Her best bet is to contact centrelink tomorrow and discuss her own situation and circumstances.

http://www.humanservices.gov.au/cust...-part-a-part-b is the reference I was looking at.
