Default New Gold Coast Uni Hospital

has anyone given birth or heard any reviews about the new Gold Coast hospital. My husband and I are trying to decide between public and private hosptials on the coast and are stuck on the thought that at the old Gold Coast hospital, partners were unable to stay over night.
Has anyone got any other recommendations for a good coast hospital, private or public?

Im booked in for my ceaser next month there. Ive been there a few times for appointments already its lovely. I dont think partner staying overnight is very common practise in any public hospital? I havent asked as we have other children that need to be cared for so dh will do that. The rooms are lovely though better than some ive seen private even in other gold coast hospitals. The birthing suites are equipped with birthing pools as well which I think is pretty awesome not that I need one this time.
