As much as my heart aches to even think it, I would choose my DP over our unborn baby. I don't think I could tell her that though because I'm unsure if that would also be her choice. This is our first child though.

Me. I've had my mortality shoved in my face recently and it matters. My kids deserve their mum.

Like others, I would say the baby, DH would say me. But when I look at it logically and not pg, I have two living children that I would be leaving behind. I have already had to make the decision to end a pg bc it was life threatening, but I made that choice bc it was never going to be viable anyway.

So from an emotional POV I would want to save the baby, from a logical POV I would chose my own life bc of the children I already have.

If we're talking a full term labour gone bad scenario, save the baby. Even though it would be my 3rd & mean leaving all 3 without a mum. DH just said he would choose to save me.

If it's one of those where I find out I have some terrible illness whilst pregnant & need to terminate to begin treatment to save my life - I don't know. That's less emotive, you'd have time to weigh your options & be far more pragmatic about it. As I type I think I'd still choose the baby - I don't know if I could live with the decision that I chose my life over my child's.

Mother. I lost my mum when I was younger and I would never want my children to experience that pain.

I would save the baby. I would die for my son without a second thought.
