    Default Mother OR baby???

After this topic came up in the news, I was curious...

In the horrific, awful situation (that I hope noone is ever faced with), in a life-or-death situation where a decision has to be made (say in labour) where only the mother OR the unborn, full-term baby can be saved... Which do you believe is the option your partner/any partner should choose and why?
I know no life is more important than another And Hope I'm not offending anyone with this topic... Just curious.

DP would save me, I'd save her. I expect whoever was carrying at the time would say save the baby.

I would choose to save the baby. I'm not sure which one df would choose. I know he loves me a lot but I think he loves Lilly just a tiny but more, not that I mind, I think it's quite sweet.

    I would say mother.

If I had this conversation pregnant with my first I would say save the baby.
But pregnant with second etc child I would say mother.
Only because you then have other children effected if they loose their mum.
I hate to say it, but, if in that situation I don't think my husband would mentally cope if I were gone, if god forbid we lost a child we would have each other for support.

Pregnant with first baby - save the baby.
Pregnant with subsequent children - save the mother.
