Thai pumpkin soup here for dinner, yum! And half a dinner roll...

We had a BBQ lunch today at the neighbours, and I was pretty careful, but did have a piece of cream filled sponge cake - went for a 3km walk with DD1 this afternoon...

However, I think my body is in shock! This afternoon I felt dizzy, light headed and had cold sweats and felt hungry... I don't know if I should be calorie counting or not and just eating smaller portions and making healthier choices and doing the occasional exercise, or counting the calories and not doing exercise until my body sorts itself out...

    Gah!

Mum2EandR, be kind to yourself, we will all have a bad week I think - I feel I might cave soon and just have a huge feast with everything yummy!

My weigh in day is Tuesday and tomorrow I have my cousin-in-law and her little boy visiting and we love to eat and drink coffee... she is very supportive of me doing this, and very conscious of watching what she eats, so we'll be right!

Also feeling a bit blah tonight...

Are you eating enough? I get that way too sometimes, especially at the very beginning of a new diet; it takes you time to adjust. Keep lots of low GI, high protein snacks on hand to see you through between meals. Do you like diet shakes? You could have that between meals, right now I have "Reducta" by Fat Blaster it has 10 x more appetite suppressant than any other weight loss shake. I have it in the mornings mostly before work instead of a solid meal and it keeps me going for a few hours.

I'm trying to stay at 1200 calories / day, and trying to balance carbs/protein/fat/sugar etc., but am feeling with the exercise it's not enough. I will give it until Tuesday, a week then, and see how I feel... I'm counting a cup of coffee as a snack, so that's probably not great!

Thanks... will do some 'healthy' baking this week. I think if after Tuesday I'm still feeling too hungry and not too well, I'll drop the calorie counting and just do healthier eating and exercise - trying not to put to much pressure on myself!

It's amazing what your body/mind can do after only a week - today after my piece of cake I felt so yuck!!! That's a good thing I think!

Girls, remember that you can lose wright with strict diet and minimal exercise.

Having said that, it's easier said than done.

I exercise 6 times a week, burning at least 400 calories, usually over 500 a session and my weight has not budged much. There's no excuse really, I know it is my diet. My meals are good as I'm doing Michelle Bridges but it's in between that I struggle with.
