    Our general diet is reasonable. We just have extras that we so don't need and it's emotional eating for sure. We both made the decision to not emable eaxh other with it any more. The occasional bit is fine but we've snuck back up to junk every day so it's a problem again.

    Sounds like everyone is going really well so far. I have had a terrible few days...... A combination of a grumpy teething baby, sleep deprivation and a general lack of self control.

    I am going to get back on track tomorrow and start using my fitness pal app.

    Chunkydunks, if you don't like exercise then don't do it. Seriously! Weight loss really is more diet than exercise so maybe focus on healthy eating, and you might find it easier to then get into exercise once you have your eating sorted. Just thinking that sometimes we overwhelm ourselves with all of these changes that we have to make right now and end up setting ourselves up for failure because it seems too hard or like too much. By making small changes and getting them right before moving to the next thing we are probably more likely to succeed.

    If no one has noticed yet I tend to dribble on a little - sorry about that lol
    Well said. I used make sure I walked for an hour every day and at first it was OK but I ended up loathing it. I heard that weightloss comes down to 80% food and 20% exercise.

    Today is going to be hard as my SIL and niece are coming to visit and I'm making apple and cinnamon muffins...

    I guess too it's about choosing to have one muffin instead of two, LOL and I'm using wholemeal flour instead of white flour and will use half sugar.

    I am feeling good about today! Woke up and a lot of my bloating had gone down from my first day of AF so I am feeling better! Got a boozy night ahead so will count calories all day!!!
