As the topic says....any advice/tips/need to know things that helped you switch to bottlefeeding from breastfeeding or just bottlefeeding tips? Bub is 10 weeks old.

    Subbing.
I'm doing this now with 8 month old DS. This week I've tried offering a formula every 2nd feed. Boobs were exploding but are slowly settling down. Hope I'm doing it correctly.

For me it was almost a straight swap. Swapped one feed then 2 then 3 etc after about 4 days he was full formula. It was relatively easy.

The recommendation is to drop 1 feed every couple of days. This ensures your breasts adjust naturally and hopefully without the risk of mastitis or blocked ducts occurring.

Have you tried bottle feeding yet? Some babies can be fussy with teats and brands. So before you start trying to wean, I'd suggest ensuring your LO actually takes a bottle well first!
