I will start working on our menu after I get over DS birthday ! But we usually have a big seafood influence as my dad and brother hit the fish markets on Xmas eve and as well as that mum always roasts a turkey and a chicken for lunch and Xmas dinner is usually finger food or left overs!
Last years lunch was;
BBQ whole snapper
Cold cooked king prawns and oysters
BBQ Morton bay bugs in garlic butter
Roast pumpkin and haloumi salad
Baby beetroot, veggie and goats cheese salad
Bruschetta and fresh sourdough bread
Dessert is always mums homemade Xmas pudding and custard but I usually do fruit and something sweet like mousse or last year was a pavlova toblerone cake !
