Don't worry H&H Sydney is not for everyone.. I guess it's what you know? The only other state I could really imagine living in is Melbourne but I spent a lot of time there growing up (lots of family there). I think everyone would say they wouldn't live to live in "xyz" state. Personally I love Sydney!

ETA - In terms of feeling comfortable to raise children in another state - I wouldn't want to make that call or judgement unless I had experienced what it's actually like to live there. I haven't lived in any other state so I wouldn't know whether it would be ideal for me. Just how I work though - like to base those things on experience

Sorry I really didn't mean to offend. I didn't mean Sydney was bad, I meant not-QLD was bad.. If that makes sense?? We are trying to get back to qld cos that's where all our friends and fam is. It was a personal reflection, not a reflection on the state xx

Yeah I know what you mean about being a personal thing, I couldn't stand the thought of living or bringing kids up anywhere other than perth! And they say we're backwards here but I love it here.

Argh finding it so hard to not wish I was UTD now. I'm so impatient!! Plus DS is growing up so fast and it's so scary wish I could learn to just relax and enjoy.

Hmm I think if DH and I could choose another city it'd be Melb. But his fam are in QLD and Northern NSW so living in Brisbane wouldn't be too hard either. One day we might live o/s who knows! I'm open to most things, it's good to experience different environments IMO.

Oh Shani sorry you're finding it hard. Hopefully all will happen as you want it to.

I'm sitting here typing away in bed with my dog lying next to me having a massive barking episode in her dreams, the bed shakes every time she barks (they're more like huffs) as she's not properly barking. So cute! I wonder what her dream is about. Something intense by the sounds LOL

I had private health insurance but I stopped it. Really wishing I hadn't now. I may call them and see if I can backpay or something I don't know.

Hahahaha that sounds like my cat. He sounded like a little human snoring and his legs were twitching. Was so cute but I got worried because he was moving around.

I was with Bupa but their top cover/top hospital only includes $1600 for major dental which... I could get $1600 on my own and not have to wait 12 months. I may have to send the man out to the corner in one of those elephant man panties and he can be a "man of the night" hahahahaha

Lol Crafty!!! That's hilarious!! Send the man to work hehehe. In all seriousness though, that sucks about the dental work. DF had about $2k worth of work done last week!
