Im in the same boat Lots. Got my scans this morning and hoping that everything is ok with bubs. Last time we were at my ob told us a story of a lady at 20 weeks who had to say goodbye to her baby cause of heart problems. It's all I can think about this morning. I even dreamt about it!

I hope you tell your OB that as they should be made aware of how some of the things they say effect their patients unnecessarily!

You'll be fine I'm sure so chin up and get excited! hugs

    Lotsa good luck today

Thanks Ladies. I know it was silly but I tend to dwell on these things a bit. Usually I am a positive person but after awhile it does become difficult.

Great news though baby is doing well and everything, heart, brain, spine etc is perfecto. Only thing is I have a low placenta so we have to watch it. Cant fly after 26 weeks. We have a holiday to Fiji booked which luckily just scrapes in! Might also mean a C section delivery. I dont care as long as baby is good I will do whatever I have to do.

Waiting to hear how your scans went Lots...Im sure it went great.

October Im sure you are just like me and it will be all fine once you have your scan next week. I do understand the worry though. Feel free to vent to me/us if you need to. All of us totally understand.

    Rtkirk that is great news.

I wouldn't worry too much about the placenta. Mine was the same with DS and between 32-40 weeks there is a crazy amount of movement down low in your uterus. Mine was touching my cervix at 26 weeks, had about 1 cm clearance at 34 weeks and was completely out of the way (5 cms+) by 37 weeks!

Although I did end up with a c section cause our 34 week scan showed bubbas head was already 10cms!! I got to 40 weeks and his big melon didn't get anywhere near engaged so we chose c section to avoid very high chance of a traumatic vaginal delivery. Needless to say he was a big boy and he did have a massive head!!!

I am going elective c section this time around, and if you do end up needing a c section it really is a walk on the park!!
