Had an appointment with my GP today on an unrelated matter, and she wanted to book me in to have the 12 week scan done. She said it wasn't compulsory to have the NT testing done, but I decided I still wanted a scan, because I don't think I can wait until about 19 weeks to see whether or not there's still a baby growing and developing properly (if at all) in there. So my 12 week scan is now booked for Friday the 22nd of November.

I can certainly understand that CatLover. I feel like all I'm doing is a countdown to my next scan to make sure bub is okay! I'm so glad my Ob has a quick look at each appointment.

It does get easier when you start feeling bub move around though. I don't feel her all the time but she's taken to giving me a couple of decent boots every day which is very reassuring, even though I don't particularly like the feeling itself

Congrats KJ and welcome to the thread... Hoping this is a stress free pregnancy...

Sorry to hear that AMPS.. Has the pain passed? Sorry to hear that Jay.. I had that sort of constipation after my laparoscopy surgery... It's the worst So good to have friends preg at the same time.. One if girlfriends is booked in for a Caesar 2 weeks after my Bubs is due

I just burst out laughing on the train reading everyone's excessive hair issues... OMG! How fast is it growing? And I'm not talking about the ones on my head either! Lol

Can't wait for my OB appointment Friday so I can see Bubs.. I feel like I feel movement in my tummy but don't know if I'm imaging it!! Can't wait till the day I feel a big kick

How exciting Catlover I personally think its important to do the scans and tests even if the result don't matter to you more so you can prep for bubs arrival if there is anything eg Specialist etc. but the best part is to see your little one and man the difference you see at the 12 week scan is amazing!!!

LittleMiss - unfortunately the maternity jeans I tried at Jeanswest look like I needed balls to fill them don't know why but the sales assistant said for some reason spine ladies get that! I didn't try the skinny jeans as I don't have the thighs for them LOL I didn't even look at tops as was on a jeans / pants hunt and still haven't found any that fit. Pumpkin Patch clothes I found really ugly which surprised me since they had such cute kids clothes.

If I can find a Valley Girl I might have a look at their tops thanks for the tip!

Haha, I could wax every two and a half weeks!! But boy it hurts now. I havent even considered maternity wear just three plain White tops I got for work weeks ago that are still in the bag with tags on them.

I'm a big fan of the flowy tops from Kmart, and so cheap. Need to get some bigger pants though or at least a belly belt as my current ones just sit open.

I have my 19 week scan today and I'm really nervous. More nervous than any other scan. I hope today goes quickly!
Does anyone know if I have to drink lots of water for this one? I'm hoping not.

Happy Thursday ladies. Another day is an achievement xxx
