Thinking of you Ngaiz. When I was upset about some cramping pain recently, my cousin told me she had that up to at least 20 weeks with some red mucus/blood as well. Her little one is 9 months old now. I understand the worry but it can be completely normal. Hopefully it's all good for you too xx.

Hi ladies. Thanks for your well wishes. I've been discharged but they can't get me in to the early pregnancy assessment unit until Monday so I'm off to see my Ob in an hour.

Huge hugs to Ngaik and stc x

Looks like there's three Novocastrians here :-) we do get a reasonably good deal in the private ob stakes, and I just love mine!

Three days til our 20wk scan, booked in for prenatal yoga and with the hospital today too. Seriously tired again of late.

    Hope all else are well!

Unless you really want to see the EPAU then stuff them to be honest - stick with your ob.

After I was in hospital for bleeding/suspected miscarriage when I had salmonella - I was given all this stuff about the EPAU and an appt was booked for me and they said I had to go somewhere diffrent and have a scan etc.
Was due to see my obs on the day I was discharged and she said pretty much ignore it all - its the public systems way of getting you in to the public system and its unnecessary when you are under an ob for your care.

I was made to believe by the hospital that I HAD to do it because I had gone there for suspected miscarriage. Being my first pregnancy I had no clue.

Hope all is well at your obs xx

Which obs are you with? You are right, we have some good choices around here. Where did you do your Ivf and where are you planning to deliver? I went through Genea at Lingard Hospital and delivering at Newcastle Private.
Hi annerley - I use bubhub mostly on my phone so I can't see if it says you are from

28 years ago I was conceived by what was newcastle ivf - now genea. It would have been a real circle of life if I went back there but I chose a FS 12 months ago originally not even thinking I would need ivf. And he is head Dr at Hunter IVF so I ended up there.

Delivering at Newcastle Private - all costs included even if it ends up cesarean thanks to my health fund.

I chose Dr Spilsbury in the private suites next to Newcastle Private. What about you?
