Maggie Beer does a nice non-alcoholic drop too ladies!

Arlais - yay! Mine is 18th November. The doppler is certainly keeping our nerves at bay til then!

Is anyone else starting to pop??

I'm still feeling mostly flabby and bloated, but I had to buy a belly belt a couple of days ago as I've gone past the point of being able to zip up my work pants!
I've been using the hair elastic technique to give me a bit more room so far, but couldn't deny that I needed something a bit extra now I can longer zip up work pants or my jeans.

I did buy a pair of maternity jeans in a size larger than my usual size, but they are a lot more generous in the legs than I realised! Luckily I only seem to be putting on weight in the belly area at the moment, so I'm hoping I can avoid my bum and thighs spreading

No popping here yet; but I'm only about 8w4d. Looking forward to my booking in appointment (at which point I'll be 12w3d), on the 21st of November. Not sure whether I'll get the NT testing done or not at that point, because the results whatever they are would not change DH & I's decision to continue with the pregnancy.

CatLover - one thing you may want to consider with the NT testing is even if you are sure you would continue the pregnancy regardless of the results, knowing in advance if your child will have additional needs means that you'll have time to prepare, research specialists you'll need, etc.

I hope that your baby is completely healthy, and I admire you for the "no matter what" attitude, but just something to think about

I'm popping! Really noticed it in week 14. Now I'm 15 it's definitely there. I'm actually sticking out more on the left which is kinda weird. But I love my belly. It is weird but oh so lovely x

Hiding it still from the kids at school which has meant I've needed to buy a few baggy tops/pants. Found Kmart to be really cheap. Around $10-15! And then I can wear my tight pants only zipped up without the button. Might need a belly band. But at this stage they aren't slipping down so making do.

Annerley, yes I had those pains! Had them on and off then a bit more consistently around week 10/11. It was in the pubic area, kinda to the left.

Arlais, I agree, scans are nerve wracking the closer they get. The later they are in the pregnancy the more you have to lose as you come to grips with the fact that it actually might work out!

Got a bit of work to do this weekend. Not sure how good my focus is going to be. And DH is away so going to miss having someone to help cook for my sleepy bones. x

    Is anyone getting blood noses?
Had one last night which got me out of bed. Decided to read my "What to expect" book and I literally turned the page and read about blood noses. So funny when that sort of stuff happens.

I don't think I have "popped" per say, but in the morning when I first wake up with a v full bladder I def have a noticeable bump when I lie on my back!

It is my favourite part if the day at the moment!

Good point. Something for DH & I to discuss further in the next couple of weeks.

Bedlover, I m exactly the same first thing in the morning! Definitely a quite hard and cute little belly. I haven't really put on any weight, which actually worries me for 15 weeks although my shape is changing. With my DS I'd already put on more than 5kg. I'm hoping not to put on as much weight this pregnancy but I hope it doesn't mean the baby isn't growing. Sometimes my ability to worry about anything and everything amazes me!!

I've definitely "popped". It's the first thing anyone looks at now, I've never had a tummy before. Strangely I haven't put on any weight yet and I'm 16weeks today. Must be the ms. Saw my gp today who conferred with my ob, so now I have a heap of meds to help with the ms and constipation. I have ondansetron wafers, stemetil tablets and stemetil suppositories(if I can't keep the tablets down) for the ms. I also have coloxyll tablets, lactulose and microlax enemas(if i'm really in dire straights) for the constipation. I'm hoping in a few days everything will settle down a bit so at least I can feel half human again. Got to hear belly-bean's heartbeat again, still beating strong. Weird thing though, my craving is curry pie, strawberry milk and caramel tart. Strange combo and they don't make me feel sick.
