Ringing in the ears is so irritating. I've had it for several years, starting only a few weeks after I'd been taking Lexapro as prescribed by my GP as a preventative for my headaches / migraines.

Just quickly dropping in to post my 9w1d scan pics from yesterday. The 3D view was so cool, not as great in the still photo but moving on the screen was amazing!!

Will catch up in everything later xxx

Awesome bedlover! I haven't seen one of the 3D scans done yet - very cool It's amazing how quickly they grow and develop from there. I was reading an update from my pregnancy app for week 13 earlier and it was saying that during this next month my bub will be growing up to an inch per week!

9 months seems like a long time, but in reality the amount of development that happens over that time is phenomenal.

I'm weird. I got my BFP less than a week ago, and DH and I have already agreed on our top three names for each gender (in fact, we agreed on them before we even started our IVF cycle) - Zoe Grace, Alexandra Lyn, or Stephanie Cayla for a girl; and David Peter, Matthew John, or Andrew Thomas for a boy.

Wow bedlover those pics are amazing, mine from the other day are rubbish

Catlover, you're not weird! I've had my name picked for over 5 years!! It's a Maori name but the English name will be Alexander/Alexandra or Alex for short after my grandfather. DH is happy with my choice so I'm very lucky.

GP reckons it's my sinus causing the ear sounds so told me to use FESS a saline nasal solution that the salt draws out the fluid in the sinus ... Or something like that... Only used it once and already it feels much better. She said it should also help my cough as my chest is clear so she believes my sinus is causing the cough too! So far so good son that too. Plus not having to take antibiotics even the ones that are safe during pregnancy is a big relief!

    Worth a try Catlover

Slightly in shock at the moment after having an appt with my FS this afternoon. After the sonographer was so confident about bub being low risk last week, it was a nasty surprise to find out that our risk factor is actually 1:195 for downs - which just places us in the high risk category

The NT scan was great, age isn't a problem, hcg is normal, but PAPP-a is low. The FS said that because of the IVF drugs this is generally low in assisted pregnancies, so it can skew results which would otherwise be quite normal.

We have been offered further blood tests, so I'll be booking in for that to happen early next week, then we should get the results back in about a week. I honestly don't feel that anything is wrong, but it's just such a blow to have this uncertainty thrown into our path when we were just getting to a point where we felt we could relax a bit.

I thought it would be important to share, particularly for those ladies going to have their NT testing soon - be prepared for a potential higher risk than what you might be expecting for your IVF bubs.
