    DS1 has always been able to say L but has trouble with th.

    If it is bothering him or you then yes I would work on it. My brother had speech difficulties and couldn't say L until he was 7 (probably why I was so surprised DS1 said it so clearly at 2).

    Can I join in by asking about my nearly 4yo DD. she pronounces V as B. as in voice=boice
    Begtable=vegetable

    Also uses "to" instead of "when". Eg
    "To we go to the park today..."
    "Why does brother cry to he has a pain"

    Thanks

    Ds#2 does speech for a whole rnge of issues but we do work on L's eg; i wove you mum, i want a wowwypop etc

    We get him to touch his top front teeth with his tongue and flick it down.and say the l sound a couple of times before the word "L, L, light" "L, L, love"

    It is helping
