Haha thank you Choccie, I will get on the computer later on and will read up.
I have the paed appt on Thursday and will discuss with him.
Yes! She coughs and gags a lot... When she shouldn't - like a fair few minutes after a feed! She would fall asleep and then 10-20 mins later would start fidgeting and then cough and gag. Most times she wouldn't vomit, but yesterday I knew something was up when she wouldn't feed and yet would still vomit. As for hiccups, she always hiccups!! Even when I was pregnAnt, I could feel her atleast 3 times a day!!
Last night was actually fine once she got to sleep, but I was so scared when she wouldn't stop screaming that the gaviscon was hurting her! Thankfully she was just so tired!!
I am only breastfeeding her and expressing at nights. I will keep BF'ing her until the appt on Thursday. And if he tells me to switch, i will.
I didn't realise Axle was not able to be held while feeding so sad.
    Thank you so much!!

Great! The Pead so be able to see the symptoms as well, sounds exactly like the first signs of reflux that needs medication asap, as for not spewing it is a good thing, also called silent reflux when they don't spew.
Axle also had a lot of hiccups while pregnant with him!!! Must be a sign aye!
Now that axle is on the correct medication his hiccups have lessened quite a bit, coughing has gone and the constant dribbling has also subsided, grumpiness is getting better and he stays happy for a bit longer, thank god!

    Maybe it was a sign!
DH suffers from heartburn a fair bit, I have never had it in my life, so don't have a clue what it is like.
She seems to be doing the same again today, so just going to keep her upright a bit more and keeping a mix of EBM with gaviscon in it and try to feed while I am BF'ing.

I used to syringe the gaviscon into his mouth as he wasn't drinking enough milk for it be effective as he would need to drink the whole bottle for it to work properly if u get what I mean?
U need to elevate everything she sleeps in and never put her on her back after a feed, tummy time must be done before any feeding. She needs to be up right for 20 mins after after a feed as well.

God I could write a book on reflux!

You should dedicate a website or a blog to it!
I have just made a mixture up with some breastmilk and using a syringe to get some down. Fingers crossed!

If I only had time MissX! With a difficult baby, a toddler and a house to run, there isn't much free time left!

Good luck with the gaviscon, I would follow direction on pack and give enough per kgs as it states
