    Miss X,
Personally I think your MIL is a tad deluded!!...Of all the babies (my own and nieces/nephews) I have known, I have never met one who slept through at 10 weeks!!
    J xx.

MissX good luck with your mother-in-law but I agree I don't know any babies Chelseas age who is sleeping through, they still need to eat through the night to grow.

Bond I hope things settle with Meadow soon

    J Lucy is very cute

Hahaha J- I couldn't agree more! She is indeed, very deluded in her ideas! When I was pregnant, she told me to not get an epidural as it would paralyse me! She is the queen of old wives tales! Thankfully I am able to tell her that her ideas are not always right
Oh I am looking forward to it, especially if she says anything like that....I will inform her otherwise
Bring it on! Nothing like someone criticising my parenting to bring out the mumma bear in me!

Toby turned 3 last week. He's very demanding of my attention of course! Think often I am not able to respond to Meadow's cues straight away when I have both of them. Poor thing gets overtired or overstimulated. Using my ring sling to help so she can drift off in that. But her 30 min cat naps are also a big cause of her crankyness I'm sure!

How are things with your DH, nila?

Cute pic, J! Lucy is adorable.

Miss X, your MIL sounds like a pain in the ***! Good luck when she comes to stay. We stayed with mine in the UK and she's usually lovely but I got a bit cranky when she asked whether M needed formula top ups. Er, no!!! She also was rubbish at settling her as they just love their mums don't they and she didn't want to go to anyone else. I would get annoyed when DH would give M to her knowing M was unsettled and she'd start crying straight away! I know she wants to hold her, but pick the right moment!

What is everyone up to this weekend?

I'm having that issue with DH- keeps grabbing Chelsea when she is unsettled and then gets annoyed that only I can settle her! I am over trying to make him feel better and just telling him that now is not a good time for a cuddles... But he doesn't listen!

We are having a picnic with all of our friends tomorrow out near the water - will be 31 degrees and sunny - really looking forward to it!

Every time I give Lucy to hubby for 5 mins, so I can go to the bathroom etc, and she lets out the slightest noise, his response is "Oh she must need a feed!!". Umm...no...just try sticking her dummy in and giving her a cuddle! Drives me nuts, as he doesn't even try!!
Bond, Oscar is just over 3 also, and I am finding it a difficult age. He has dropped his day-sleep (boy am I sad about that), and whilst he seemingly adores Lucy, he wants my attention too, and I can't always give it too him. Then I feel like a bad mother. He wants to kiss Lucy while I am feeding her, and if anyone has ever tried breastfeeding with another head in the way, it is not easy!!
Speaking of breast-feeding, Lucy bit me today (with her gums obviously)...and it really hurt!!
Need more photos of bubs...keep them coming girls!

Here's some pics, J. One is Toby trying to put Meadow's socks on, in the cot she doesn't sleep in yet! Other is her in a cute outfit my Auntie sent from America.

And i totally know what you mean about two heads when BF! Toby does that too, wanting to kiss and cuddle her when feeding. You can't get annoyed as its lovely but it can unsettle bub. And i have loads of guilt about not having enough time to spend with him playing too. We just have to do our best I suppose, totally normal sibling stuff, they won't suffer, just us feeling bad about it!

Oh and M has 'bit' me with her gums quite a few times. It bloody hurts! Hope its a one off with Lucy!
