Things to watch out for in suspected head injury in children:
    - lethargy, drowsiness
    - vomiting more than twice
    - persistent headache despite adequate pain relief (paracetamol etc)
    - seizure activity
    - any unusual behaviour

If in doubt, your local ED will be happy to assess.

Toni I understand how you'd be feeling. It could have happened to any one of us. The main thing is River is ok. Hugs to you, you really are doing a wonderful job!

Toni I'm glad river is ok after the bed falling! It happens to the best of us, my ds2 fell off the bed at 6 months old ish I seriously felt horrible but he was all good!

Bond sorry you feel sad about the way the birth went I had a bit of time after ds1 was born when I thought I did the wrong thing by having a csection you tried your best and as j said that in the days when the do ores intervened less there was a higher rate of mortality so be glad that you have your healthy babies!

J Lucy is seriously so cute!!!

Afm: Tyler is all good now his testes are back to normal which is great and the mass they found in his adrenal gland the doctors think that it's just one of those lumps that will go away with time so yay!! Hubby and I have been on a brink of separating but he finally started listening to me and being thoughtful and respectful, I really hope it lasts this time!!! It really ****ed me off that my hubby didn't help me with the kids at all while Tyler was in hospital and it really made me realise that dh job is more important to him then his family and that he prefers spending more time at work then baby sitting the kids but as I said he has been good since I had a huge talk to him the other night hopefully this time it will last and he becomes less of a selfish ****!!!

Nila the twins are gorgeous. I am glad Tylers tests came back ok. Sorry your hubby has not helped much and I hope the talk with him works for the long run. I always find it funny when we say our partners babysat the kids. Babysitting should only be when you are paying someone else lol

Toni that is true and that is what my therapist kept saying when I had pnd with my second but it just comes out specially when I know hubby doesn't really enjoy looking after the kids and he sometimes thinks that everything to do with the kids is my job

That would drive me insane! I do most things with River because until she is bigger Dale just physically can't be he does as much as he can. We found ways he can give her a bottle. He watches her in the bath while I put laundry on (he cant get her in or out but he sure would jump in to save her if something went wrong) He holds her all the time and tries to settle her. He doesn't really do nappies but they would be near impossible one handed.
