I just wanted to say that although this is definitely true, it's nowhere near for Vale. According to that calculation she should be having 950 mls per day. It's an awesome day if she has over 600 mls. On average though she has between 500 - 600 mls.

Just thought I'd pipe up as I know that that calculation caused me much stress when my darling girl wasn't having anywhere near that

Oh for sure and I think we have chatted about this before, its an average. River should have 750mls but she has 500-600 as well

Just tried to book into a community clinic and they are all booked up until the 17th!! Seeing her paed on the 10th, so will chat to him.
Had a rough night last night. Just wouldn't settle and she would drink 120ml of EBM at each feed and was still hungry and so would give her the boob! Growth spurt at 4.5 weeks?
Wish there was a way we could tell how much bubs were drinking from the boob!
Thanks for your help ladies. I think Chelsea is getting enough, I think the bigger issue is sleeping/settling.
I am not a fan of leaving her to cry, but starting to think we might need to try this again. I can spend up to 45 mins rubbing/patting her back to soothe, but to no success. As soon as I pick her up, she will sleep, then when I put her into bed, wide awake!!!! *sigh*
Thankfully at the moment I don't feel so sleep deprived, just tired, so can handle these night challenges

Hope tonight goes better MissX. Last night River screamed until 945 then slept until 5am. Had a feed slept on me for a bit then back to bed. I know letting her go to sleep on me is a bad habit but its what works

Ava used to love bath time but lately as soon as she gets in the water she starts screaming and won't stop. The water is the right temp. Not sure what's wrong or how to make it enjoyable again. Anyone had this happen or have any tips?
