    Default Elsie for baby name?

Hi ladies...what do people think of Elsie for a baby girl? I like the fact that it is old fashioned but not super popular and am thinking of naming bubba Elsie if it comes out pink.

I really like it. Thought about it for DD3 but an old friend named their DD Elsie a few months before our little miss and along and hubby has rules about that

It is my middle name and hate it. Everyone spells it wrong including government forms. I had a huge process to go through even getting my passport as everyone spells it wrong and sight reads it as Elise.

I would not do it to the kid.

Hmmm I like some old fashioned names but have to admit I'm not too keen on Elsie. Just makes me think of an old lady.
I like the Elise that a PP said she always gets instead by mistake.
But if you love it, go for it. Not many people like what we have picked if ours is a boy but we don't care cos we love it!

Love it. DH won't agree to it as a first name but we've got it down as a middle name for next time

I like it. I know of a 6 year old named Elsie. You're always going to encounter idiots who can't spell or read carefully, regardless of what you name bubs.
