Default what age for your children?

Just wondering on other peoples opinions.....
At what age would YOU allow YOUR child to go to a public swimming pool with a friend.... (no parents)..... the child doesn't have a mobile phone... and you pick them up a few hours later???

When we started high school we were allowed to do certain things like that unsupervised. And I think I'll be the same.... All depending on what my kids are like the older they get of course

Teenager, and then it would depend on what type of kid they were and how their swimming ability was.

I think most pools wouldn't allow it for under 12s anyway.

Teenager, most pool places require adult supervision til a certain age, 13 I think it is?
It certainly won't be as young as I was, under the age of 9, alone with friends. Scary, scary thought.

I'd wait til they are at least teens. Mine both aren't strong or confident swimmers, so that would have to improve by then too.

Depends on the situation/friends/friends ages etc.

Ds is 13 and is allowed with his youth group but not just his age friends.
