I'm worried that women might read this book and take it seriously, but I'm positively petrified that men might too!

WTF - just the article was enough!

I hope people don't actually buy the book. They'd just be adding to the tons of cash she's already wallowing in.

Hmmmm, what she does to keep a rich husband I'd rather be poor and be respected by my husband.

I've noticed there is a trend happening towards the whole 1950s thing.
There is also a shift towards domestic discipline. I've been researching it and it was a bit of a shock. Massive Christian displine trend also.

I don't really know what I think about it. It really does work in some cases actually quite a bit of relationships. But then on the other hand the lines are a bit blurred and it can boarder on abuse.

It really is about opening your mind and understanding that everyone wants something different. There are a lot of relationship I don't agree with but it seems to work for them.

What will she do if she has kids? How will she hide her poop then?

Convo at my house this morning:

-muuum! Are you doing a poo?
    - yeah buddy
    - out of your bum?
    -yep
    -not your vagina?
    -nope. My bum.

    MYSTERY ANNIHILATED!!!

I wish DH was a bit more mysterious about his poop! But right now I pee my pants every time I sneeze or cough (and I have hayfever) so I probably can't complain...

Not gonna lie that I don't mind a hair pull.

Kinda makes you think, "glad I'm not his wife!"

He sounds like a knob, and she sounds down-trodden, but without having seen the show, I assume that's the appeal of it all (to viewers).

If she thinks she's happy, then whatever... but I bet you in 10 years time, even 20, she won't be as good at faking her happiness as she is right now. I honestly don't believe any woman who feels HAPPY being the slave of her husband, having him dominate her life in every way. STUFF THAT. (And pull my hair and rip my clothes off when I say no, and it won't do anything but have me consider you a rapist).

    They have children already.

He says his quote was taken out of context and while it's not how I would ever live my relationship, as long as they are both consenting adults who are we to say it is wrong. I would never buy their book either.

Bec and George from this years The Block said they don't poop either (probably not ever poop but they hide it from each other, secret pooping!!).
