We have the Duspn Motorhead and love it - similar to others I was amazed at what it bought up out of the carpets... We took it to mums to experiment - we did her carpets with a fairly expensive Miele Nd straight after did it with the Dyson - we still nearly filled the barrel! I think nothing else compares. It doesn't matter how ful the barrel is, the suction doesn't change. Definitely worth the investment!

I've had a barrel one for about 10 years now. I keep hoping it'll break so I can upgrade to a newer version, but it won't die, and doesn't miss a beat. Def worth the cost.
