mrsmac - I just read your post about the comments people make. I probably should add more backgound to mine. We were made to believe that our first mc was my fault, then found out we lost the twins and they were tested to be fine, then after the third loss we were still being told that it was most likely chromosomal even before they had tested. I think some practitioners 'generalise' too much based on the average woman and circumstances without taking every pregnancy and woman seriously. If the specialists had actually listened to me, they would have worked it out without the bloods just as I had.
I do agree with you though that if it is chromosomal or ill then it is piece of mind knowing that they didn't have to be ill any longer.
12dpobfn *SIGH* no sign of AF yet she would normally have started rearing her head by now.
If stress killed babies I would definitely not be still pregnant right now. How ridiculous and insensitive God people annoy me sometimes.
LeisyLou, that is incredibly insensitive and completely untrue. *hugs* Honestly, unless someone has been through a miscarriage they would have no idea. They say the most stupid things.
After my m/c my boss tried to make me feel better by saying my miscarriage happened for a reason and then went on to tell me about two young men he knew who died in a freak accident while mountain climbing, and that there was no reason for their death. It really didn't seem like the right time to be saying any of that to me. It definitely didn't make me feel better about my own loss..
Well my temp is now below the coverline at 15dpo so you might as well colour me bfn :-( on to cycle 6 I am guessing next AF is due 27th
