Anyone here on a long cycle? When would you test? I'm OPKing it this month to pinpoint O, but my cycle is averaging 34 days but has been shorter and longer. Should I wait til missed AF based on 34 days or wait til X days past O? I am only CD11 so not expecting to O for a while...

    Experienced ladies?
Just on my 2nd cycle after implanon removal, no experience with opk or bbt but am doing both...this morn at 8.30 am had pos opk ....does this indicate the egg will be released within 24 hourish....and how soon after this do you expect temp to rise...also can you have pos opk and temp rise but no egg? Hubby and I bd today, last night, previous morning (mon) and sunday night...I wonder if I should rest him tonight? Heheh and go again in the morning...or tomorrow night

When I get a better idea I would like to be added to the testing...prob around 10dpo as one of those impatient poas addicts

I have long cycles I O on cd 18,19 or 20. I started testing twice a day from day 14. With opks you cant say for use when you ovulated only when you are gearibg up to ovulate. Without temping you cant know for sure. My lp is 13 days so 13 days after o I get my af. I would just wait until your cycle has gone past 34 days then test.

I have 28-36 day cycles. though, 36 is my norm. My last was 33.

I used to o on cd17, but now I get ewcm and ovulation pains around cd21.
My lp changes I've had it anywhere from 11-16 days.

Hey @Little Ted. Can you please put me down for 1 November? AF is 4 days late, temp still up, feeling a bit nauseous, but BFNs! I will test again on Friday (1 November) & hopefully get that elusive BFP (FINALLY).
