Just a question, does anyone use fertility apps? I have one called - period tracker where I can put in when we DTD, symptoms, periods, Os... finding it really easy to use.

We sort of decided to start trying after 6 years together by him just not wearing anything and not withdrawing (TMI), he finished and said "woops, oh well lets try from now" - with a huge grin on his face hahah. DTD every 2 or 3 days now, very excited!!

There are quite a few ladies who use fert apps on here ARTPOP. I'm not one as I would require a thing-a-ma-jig for that.

    2dpo...ah ah ah ah ah.

Something weird is going on ...usually Fort Knox has all dried up by this point, but still getting lots of clear cm (and I'm on clomid)... do do do do, do do do do.

DH and I are both gamers so that makes it easier for me. Doesn't mean there haven't been times when I feel like smashing that xbox! Haha.

As for apps, I use pink pad.

I use afb app, just to give me an idea on when I need to carry stuff just incase the witch arrives.

Fx its a good sign little ted.

So, we have been pretty much trying a year... I know we dtd at the right time (every 2nd night ALL month...) With a few extras thrown in when theres ewcm... Why haven't I got a bfp yet!?
I know I can see my gp.

I seen him back in may when we had been ttc 6 months, for something unrelated, and he asked if we were having #2, and seemed quite shocked that we weren't utd... Gave me a chat on temping etc...

But... What do I do now? What do I say? Is there something I should ask for? Should I go in well before I expect to o?

Shadow - When you see the gp give him as much information as is possible. ie. cycle length, whether you think you are ovulating, any relevant info from your temping and how long your luteal phase is.

In hindsight, before even ttc I would ask for is full bloods - hormones (particularly prog.), blood clotting, thyroid, ANA, etc. Anything that may cause issues in pregnancy. If you're already having a test, they may as well do the works and know where your body is at.

Depending on these results, they may do an u/s of your girly bits too. If nothing comes of this they will most likely refer you onto a fertility specialist and get DH's swimmers checked too.

Hopefully it will just be something simple. Go in as soon as you can as some of these tests need to be done at particular stages in your cycle.

Shadow, after 12 months would your gp refer you to a fertility specialist?

Depends on how much knowledge and experience the gp has in the area. Even if they do feel it is best to refer onto fertility specialist, the doctors themselves can still get bloods and ultrasound done and running - saves time later and means your fertility specialist appt can be more productive if they already have your results to make a more informed plan of action and saves having to go back a second time if it is something simple.

Yeah I play ps3 too so im guilty of that but not till 2am or 4am on a week night like him lol.

I hope today is goes fast ive already had some feral man in a 4x4 abuse me because I overtook him and he was cutting in front of ppl all the way but as soon as I do it to get past a truck he beeps and has his high beams on and when I had to stop to turn left he puts down his Window and starts screaming from what I could tell over his very embarrassed teen daughter so I told him to eff off and gave him the finger as I was no where near him when when I chnaged lanes.

If he wants road rage ill give him road rage but honestly not in the mood. Lucky I want to change my number plate to new ones lol its times like these you hate have personal plates lol

    Thanks little ted.

    Not sure nomie?

I guess he can start by checking my thyroid, and I might ask for the 2hr glucose test. I'm on meds for my thyroid and have been for 2 yrs. I had abnormal glucose results before having ds and was put on metformin.... We fell first full cycle on it with ds.

And hopefully he does any tests I might need also, I just feel soo nervous, I know I need to loose weight, and I've been trying, but I'm not seeing it, nor are the scales!

Maybe my thyroid is up the creek?

I've been thinking if taking the... "we have ttc a year, and trying to loose weight without success....fix me!" Angle... Wdyt?
