Default Have you had pain in your abdomen after a miscarriage??

I have a short stabbing pain on the upper right side of my abdomen. I miscarried 4 days ago, so i assume its linked. Anyone else had this??

Katie, sorry to hear about your angel.

I have had 2 m/c's and yes, both with bad pains. 1st one was worse as it was a 'natural' m/c. The 2nd I had a d&c, so most of the pain was in the couple of days following the procedure.

again hun. It is heartbreaking and such a horrible thing to go through. I am here if you need to talk.

I didn't really have a stabbing pain, but more like a period pain cramp. I had it from 3weeks pg to 8 weeks when i had the d&c i still had it 10 weeks after the d&c i was getting worried and had an ultra sound but it came back clear.
    Good luck with TTC

I just got my AF the other day and my tummy is killing me (literally). I went to the docs cause I haven't had anything since the D+C (which was 7 wks ago) and he said that everything is normal and has given me some tablets to take.

It seems to be helping but all I really want to do is go to bed and wake up in next year!!

I have had a lot of post m/c pain. It was a suspected unresolved ectopic and I had 2.5 weeks of pain and some bleeding. After a couple of u/ses they decided to do a laparoscopy as ob was uncertain what was going on. There was some evidence of ectopic in the ovary capsule and also endometriosis which was lasered at the same time. Get it checked out!

It's best to know exactly what is going on - there are so many things that can go wrong with ttcing.

I'm sorry for your loss Miscarriage is hard.
Never miss a good chance to shut up.
