Default Does your newborn give good eye contact and when did they start?

My 6 week old usually looks over my shoulders or above my eyes. He coos a lot and smiles in respond to our speech. I remember my first child having great eye contact at this age and I am worried their might be something wrong with ds2.

HI Babydreaming, If your concerned i'd take him to the MCHN or a doctor to get them to have a look.

Update: My little man now makes great eye contact. He loves to hold my gaze and coo and smile.
