My DD is 7 months and I've just returned to work. I pump twice per day when she would usually feed which prevents engorgement and leaking and then breastfeed when I am home with her. She was always a bit iffy about taking a bottle and it would be hit and miss most the time but she loves her sippy cup that I usually fill with water for her. So now instead of the bottle, she drinks her EBM out of the sippy cup. This could be an option for you if u are concerned about breast refusal?

Yeah I am concerned as I'd like to breastfeed for about a year at least if I can of course , but will need to go back to work after about 6 months.

I haven't had a problem with ds refusing the breast. I mostly use the medela calma as I was paranoid about breast refusal but honestly don't think it would have mattered.

But a sippy cup can be used from 4 months if you are really worried.
