Default I think I may have just accidentally gone on a date...

A few weeks ago I went to a local pub for a few drinks. When I was there I got chatting to another single mum & she asked for my number.

Tonight she texted me and asked if I'd like to head out dinner. I'm kid free so thought .. Why not??!

I have never felt so awkward in my life. I was quizzed and was even asked how many people I'd slept with!! So told me it was fate we met that night and she was glad she texted.

Aww, maybe she is just really lonely and got a bit over excited about making a new friend and didn't know how to act?

Ha .. Yeah maybe. I honestly felt like we were on a date. I've never been asked so many personal questions one after the other. She's really excited to have met me - talking about when we'll see each other next. I won't write her off just yet - but I reaaalllyyyyy hope it's a little more ... Um relaxed next time!

Yeah this is my thought too (coming from someone who doesn't have any single mum friends & would love one!).

But yes those questions would make me feel awkward too....very personal for a new 'friend'!!
