    Default Child care benefit. ..3 kids

    Can some one help me work out what child care benefit would be for two kids in care and one in after school care if income is about 120000 p.a ...is it much?

    I think it depends on how much fees are and how much benefit you're entitled to. Impossible to tell really.

    You can usually go on the online estimator. Depends on how old your kids are, how many times a week they'd go etc

    I think your best bet is to get your ccb % from centrelink, then contact the childcare provider you wish to use and ask what the fees payable will be based on the % you were given.

    Well according to the estimator I'm eligible for 56%...I did it twice to make sure...my carer said with three kids I'll be eligible for a fair bit. Its the deciding factor as to putting DS2 in childcare or not...it cant be that wrong? I also estimated a 110000 income and that said 67%.

    Thought to update. Spoke to centrelink and yes...the online estimation was correct. Glad my whole pay check won't be going to pay childcare! Thanks all.
