    It looked like a boys name to me, and I like it - though he will most likely get misidentified as Harry when first telling someone his name.

    I tried to think of a longname that it could be an abbreviation of ... and all I came up with was Aristotle. I like that too.

    Both of the Ari's that I know are short for Aristotle.
    a totally cool name, and has stood the test of time.
