Default Okay...so I'm wiped! Fatigue post mc? What the?

I really thought I would feel a bit more bouncy 3 weeks on since losing our last bub but I feel really wiped and have to push myself to do anything. Thankfully we have a good routine that at least gets everyone out daily. I workout daily and eat well.

I only bled for a week and it wasn't heavy (but then my only comparison is that of haemorraging after our first loss).

Has anyone else felt drained like this after a miscarriage? I have to get my studies done when kids are sleeping, but I'm finding it hard to stay awake!

How is your mood otherwise? Depression can make you feel tired all the time.

Hugs though during this difficult time.

I had the same problem after my mc and found I had low iron after all the blood loss. Maybe get some blood tests done

Are you taking an iron supplement? I lost 2.5L blood after DD was born and I was recommended to take FerroGrad C. A large blood loss can cause your iron levels to drop. Sorry for your loss x

Thank you - I'll ask about the iron next week at the doctor's.

I was dx with depression/anxiety earlier in the year, perhaps the pregnancy brought me out of it for a while. I felt far less tired when I was pregnant! I think it is the magic cure - just need to get some lasting stuff!
