Default Is this too close to my name?

My boy is due at the beginning of December and we are really struggling
For a boys name. Lots that I like are out as we have a common surname in our small rural town and I don't want there to be 2 people with the same name (who would also be related somehow!). Names I like but can't use are Adam, samuel, will, Michael.

I mentioned the name Jackson to DH the other day and he doesn't mind it. My name is ja cq ui though and I'm not sure if that is too close ESP since I get called jac a lot.

It is rather close but i guess it's only an issue if it bothers you.

I looked after a little girl called Jacqui when I worked in a preschool, she had a younger brother called Jackson, a father called Jason and a mother called Janelle..

People might have a bit of a joke with that one.

People call you jac so your boy would be jack's son if you know what I mean. It is close but if you guys love the name then thats all that should matter.
