I use to tuck my pens away at the end of the day when I was working. They had a habit of going walkabout between 5pm and 8am the next day

Lol i used to do the stationary orders at a small office of 20 people.
Its seriously unbelievable the amount of pens they went thru. Literally a few boxes a week which is like 3 pens per person every week!

I literally have to get like 6 pens Everytime I go to the stationary cupboard.... Within a day 4 will be missing then the last 2 one will work maybe half a week and the other will work for maybe 2 lines.... Then all of a sudden another pen will appear and it will last a while until it mysteriously goes missing again or someone borrows it and a.loses it b.never returns it. C. bREAKs it for not using it as a pen or d. It randomly stops working mid sentence but it's still full with ink

I will admit in guilty of having a stash of work pens at home where I've clipped them to my shirt, gone home and forgotten to clip them back to my shirt when going to work the next day so needed to grab some new ones. And the cycle repeats.

I work in a hospital and black pens are a rare and precious commodity!
