    LOL so true!! I was having to buy pens far too often at school. Don't think I ever actually used one until it ran out of ink.

    Hahaha! She sounds stingier than the woman who does our stationery orders. And she is seriously stingy. She would refuse to order something for the CEO if she thought it was a wasteful purchase

    i buy my own pens / highlighters and keep them in a pencil case in my bag because every time I see someone using a communal pen they have it in their mouth! ewwwh... and if someone uses my pen, it goes in the jar and not back in my pencil case. my boss is the worst and doesn't have the best dental hygiene.

    I used to get so sick of ppl 'borrowing' my pens and find them gone when I'd get back to my desk that I'd hang them off my lanyard and take them home each day.

    Last Christmas I bought myself a Christmas pen and stuck a label on it saying "If you pinch this pen then Santa won't bring you any presents"!

    Now I tend to but charity pens. Donate to a good cause and my pens are easy to locate on someone else's desk - win/win!
