    just a quick note,

I really hope its the progesterone causing my boobs to grow because if they keep going like this i'm pretty sure my bra is going to burst off in a comical fashion at some point, probably taking out a few of my work mates lol

I'm a tad nervous about tomorrow as much as I feel like AF is coming and the whole BFN test makes me think that im not pregnant but AF isn't here so maybe just maybe im going to get amazing news I just want to know definitely which it is!

and now the real wait lol... just got my blood taken apparently I can call my dr after 4 but im pretty sure his office hours end at 3... >_< looks like I find out tomorrow now.

Still no AF was due yesterday but I think the progesterone might be whats holding that up.

Where's everyone else at in their cycles?

    Hi girls,

Iv got my 2nd iui on Friday. Day 13! Its very early for me im usually day 15 ov but I knew I was close with side pains 2day.

    3 follys in today's scan;
    1 × 1.9 left side
    2 x 1.4 right side

He said if this one fails they might investigate my tubes as no one has checked them before. They found hubbys motility issues and stoped there.

Sounds promising sj fx your bloods come back with a bfp!!!

    Hey SJ..
I'm sorry. Are you sure it's 100% AF?
Let us know how you go first thing in the morning with your results.

Gem.. Any updates from you? Levels still increasing??

2cute..I'm really surprised that you haven't already had your tubes checked as it was one of the first tests I was sent for.. It's abbreviated name is a Hycosy.. A completely horrible experience but good for peace of mind.. I'd definitely recommend getting it fine as it gives you the all clear tubes/womb wise..saying that mind you, u may get a BFP this time!!

How is everyone going? 2 cute hope your 2nd iui is a success, I got the test to see if my tubes were open. My doctor recommended it, can't believe they are only just thinking about it for you. If you do have to go ahead, the procedure is quite uncomfortable...not going to lie. Fingers crossed for you!
    Sj was it bad news?
Miracle how are you going....it's your trip away this weekend isn't?
well I had another blood test today. Results back and my levels increased... Now at 5008. I'm actually happy with that. No where near as high as I what I read on these forums where some people are thousands upon thousands. so I've booked in for a scan on the 13th November to see if there is a heartbeat. Nervous and excited at the same time.

    Hey girls!

Naw SJ im sorry ur af arrived. I know the feeling its like a double punch in the gut after an iui. You try not to get more excited or more hopeful but you just do even if you try not to

Gem woohoo!! First time is a charm for some! Fingers and toes crossed that you have a sticky bean keep us in the loop!

A miracle where are you at with it all? Did you end up deciding to do a clomid only cycle? Or are going ahead with the iui? What cycle day are you on?

Afm yeah re the tubes I think because the tests I did so far have been fine and because I did fall pregnant naturally once 10 years ago. . Than they found hubbys really low motility. .they rested on that. So many doctors kept telling us to wait and try naturally for longer... so who knows how they think..

My 2nd iui was yesterday with a different doctor. All went well hubby had triple the amount of sperm needed for the procedure at 85% motility and all other areas were above the cut off point. The doctor called it a reasonable sample. And went on to say that sperm across the board has gotten worse and worse in Australian men in the past 10 years. . The dr loves my cervix lol he said im every drs dream (while inserting the tube lol) iv a 100% straight cervix he said majority are not straight so its harder to direct the tube but mine goes straight on in. The procedure didnt hurt at all and NO CRAMPING yet!!! He told me I would not cramp but I was like I bet I do, last time I was almost in tears!

    Fingers and toes x'ed! !!

Fyi the only difference between dr 1 and dr 2 - dr 1 I emptied my bladder and dr 2 requested my bladder was not 100% empty. Might be the difference in the cramps. .? Gem and sj did you have an empty bladder b4 iui?

    Hey ladies..
    How are we all going?

Gem - super awesome luck for you. It's women like you that give women like us hope.. What's next for you?

2 Cute - sounds like your 2nd IUI got off to a flying start! How are you feeling these last few days?

SJ - how are you feeling? Any plans to do a second?

As for me.. I went away to a yoga retreat at the weekend and its given me a whole new perspective on this 'waiting'.. I'm combatting the stress by keeping busy and focusing on my wellness.. I've met a couple of really interesting new friends recently just through yoga etc and I'm enjoying the regeneration.. I've been feeling so low with no bump and sad at being the only one without. What I have to be careful of is that I don't let it get me down too much and I need to socialise with women that are not in that life space.. I feel like crap around my pregnant friends so good to mix it up a bit!

I'm on day 46 of my cycle.. I plan to take Provera tonight.. I would have started on Monday but I've been on antibiotics for a sinus infection.

There was a programme on Foxtel last night called The Baby Makers - stories from a fertility clinic.. It was so interesting seeing behind the scenes of an IVF clinic.. It's got me all motivated!!
