Yes I love going on holidays but I prefer something with a kitchenette at least in it. I always look to see if they have a nice pool and if they offer breakfast with the deal.
I used to be a travel consultant so I've seen different types of hotels and apartments.
I find it an adventure and get so excited staying somewhere else.

I do have to take my own pillow though, because my neck doesn't like other pillows and then i end up with a tight neck. If I have my pillow, I can usually sleep great.

Last week I just booked a 3nt stay for my son and I. It will be our first holiday just us two. I got a great deal for a 1brm apartment at a resort up north. So I'm looking forward to that!

    I love hotels!

Luxurious ones are awesome but I can't imagine staying in one with kids.

A lovely apartment style hotel with a great pool is more our style now.

I'm happy to be away from home at any time. It's always fun!

I love staying in hotels. When I moved to the boondocks with DP the deal was I get a weekend or two in the Melb or Syd every year in a lovely fancy hotel. Haven't got to do it on my own yet, but even with the whole family we love it. Fancy suite right in the CBD, stunning views, room service and pillow menus, I am tempting myself into booking another weekend away right now!

I love staying in hotels. I'm a bit of a hotel snob too and try to stay in nice ones. Westin hotels are our favourite, really comfy beds and usually they have awesome bathrooms. I especially like buffet breakfasts - probably my favourite part of staying in a nice hotel is gorging myself on a huge breaky. Mmmmm....

I don't really like B&Bs, it's like staying in someone's house (I hate staying at people's houses, even friends/family) and ones with weird themes or over-done 'country' feel give me the heebie jeebies.

I've stayed in my fair share of stinky hostels so I feel like I've earned my 5 star hotels!

Yep, I like staying in a nice fancy hotel!

One of my favourites was the Watermark on the Gold Coast. I was thrilled with the pillow menu

I do get grossed out by the TV remotes a bit though. So many dirty fingers have touched it, possibly straight after using the toilet or getting nasty in the sack. Germ fest!

Reminds me of a holiday house I stayed in with my girlfriends a couple of years ago. Folk art and porcelain dolls EVERYWHERE. A real creep-fest!

    Exactly this!

I wouldn't want to stay at a dodgy hotel while away and feel uncomfortable!
